Former AG Bob Stephan Calls For Kline Investigation

Breaking news-
From the Topeka Capital-Journal:
Former Kansas Attorney General Robert Stephan today asked the state ethics commission to investigate the campaign finance report and political fundraising of Attorney General Phill Kline.
Much has been made of Kline raising money in churches, but quite possibly the most damaging is the claim is that Kline paid himself over $3000 from his campaign account- for campaign equipment storage in a building he owns.
Naturally, Phill ‘I’m the victim here’ Kline will most likely begin attacking former AG Bob Stephan the way he has attacked Paul Morrison in an attempt to deflect attention from the real issue.
To all of the Kline apologists: look at this on the bright side, when Kline is charged with fraud and whatever else they find, maybe he’ll decide to represent himself in court, and finally get the courtroom/jury/trial experience he’s been looking for.

This is too funny! Big mistake if he is going to bash Stephen…he is so well respected in Kansas….you’ve really done it now Kline.

What is next? Man, this Kline guy is a complete loser. We need someone else in that spot so they can investigate Kline for all the fraud that is going on in his office.

If I am not mistaken, this is the same former kansas attorney general robert stephan that saved Mr. Kline from a contempt of court conviction during the alpha subpoena controversy. Also the same Robert Stephan that wrote the precursor to Phill Kline’s infamous, poorly written and cited even worse “Aid For Women v. Foulston” attorney general opinion determining that all teenage sex as inherently injurious as a matter of law. Phill Kline has some deep rooted problems he should work out before he makes an even bigger ass of himself. Thank God for J. Thomas Marten!

According to wikipedia, Kline’s father left his mother and his 4 sibling’s when Kline was 5. The guy must have some issue’s. I can’t wait to see the KCTV 5 special investigation tomorrow night.

If Kline does represent himself, he’ll fulfill the old saw about an attorney who represents himself, and the case will become famous as ‘The ass*ole representing the ass*ole’, or ‘Ass*oles squared’, for short.
