More Trouble For Kline

Posted by firephillkline on December 1, 2005

Following our breaking news from yesterday, more sources have come forward to share information on a wide variety of serious allegations against Kline and his staff.

One of the most serious allegations involves a current investigation by the Kansas Ethics Commission into violations by Kline and his inner circle. Sources indicate three staffers are currently being investigated by the Commission for offenses unrelated to yesterday’s breaking news.

We have also learned a division deputy is being investigated for unrelated ethics violations as well, stemming from acceptance of unauthorized gifts.

We are attempting to obtain written proof of these allegations and will post information here when they become available.

We’ll save the rest for future updates. You are not going to believe some of the stuff coming out of his office. Before we began this blog, we had enough to post something new about Kline’s illegal activities once a week through the end of 2006. That has changed over the past week. We’ll continue to confirm allegations with multiple sources before posting anything, as was the case yesterday and today. We will not post anything based on fact-less accusations or rumors unable to be proven.

Today’s reference:

Kansas Ethics Commission phone number: 785-296-4219

Attorney general’s main office line: 800-432-2310

-We are also in need one or two more private practice lawyers to substantiate and access information relating to yesterday’s breaking news piece and future investigations. It turns out some legal papers can only be accessed by members of the bar. Go figure. Please email us at

If you want to be taken seriously, learn how to spell.

Dont let the occasional misspelled word cloud your vision of the message and truth.

  3. Thanks for the note about spelling. One of us (me)occasionally posts via a Palm at a campus wireless hotspot. One of us will then go back and edit puctuation and spelling, as was the case a few minutes ago.

We are confident our readers are more interested and concerned with what we have to post instead of how we spell what we post. 🙂

Now, back to the real discussion.

    Carry on.

Yes, seriouslly, dude. Who gives a damn about spelling?

What I want to know is who are the three staffers and what are they accused of doing?

Going out on a limb, I’m guessing it will have something to do with campaign activites while on the state’s clock.

I’m glad someone is looking into what Kline and his cronies are really doing in that office.

I know one of those being investigated is the chief of staff, Eric Rucker, but it might be for a different issue.

How do you know it is the Chief of Staff?

I’m not an attorney, but if you are looking for someone to help do some research I would love to help. You can email me at

I’m in Topeka but can come to Lawrence.

Interesting some care more about spelling than what is actually going on in this state.

Wow, so the whole office is corrupt? Or at least the ones he hired for campaign reasonings.

Wasn’t Eric a former prosecuting attorney? I heard the people in his county couldn’t stand him and his politics. Interesting.

Eric Rucker is the former Dickinson county attorney.

Has anyone from the press contacted Klines office to get his response? Not that it matters considering he’ll just deny he even knows Myers.

Should any of this shock anybody? He is a creer politician.

Has anyone called the Ethics board on the person that excepted the gifts? Maybe Kate-whiskey could do that-that would be a great start for you. Or look into the ethics violation the poster stated earlier about three of the people in Kline’s office.

Wonder what else is out there?–>
