Phill Kline Has Been Fired – and Re-Hired!

Two more years of anti-Kline Web blog bliss!

Kline Lacks Management Ability

Posted by firephillkline on November 21, 2005

We’re back after some much needed R & R. We had a nice little ‘vacation’ in Manhattan to watch Coach Snyder’s last football game. Glad to see the Cats pull one out for the ol’ guy.

Speaking of vacations, sounds like Kline has seen his share of staff taking permanant vacations. FPK has learned Kline’s management ability (or in this case, inability) has been responsible for an abnormally high turnover rate compared to other attorney general’s offices.

We suspect a small percentage can be attributed to a change in administration, as most elected officials probably bring in their own people. A few more probably retired. What is at issue is the nearly 45 percent turnover rate AFTER Kline was in office 90 days. 45 percent?!?!?! Are you kidding me?

After making calls to attorney general’s offices in Missouri and Iowa and finding turnover rates of 4 and 18 percent, we decided to go out on a limb and say Kline is a worthless manager.

If you were managing an organization that experienced a 25 percent turnover, wouldn’t that be an alarm for your bosses? How about 35 percent? 40? 45?

As Kline’s bosses, I think we all need to quote The Donald- Kline, ‘you’re fired!’

*note: thanks for those of you who have submitted news and tips. Keep ’em coming!

Wow! I knew Kline was unfit for the job, but nearly half the employees from Stovall left within 90 days of Kline taking office? Where did that come from? I would love to read the stats personally.

  2. Sorry for the confusion. Let us clarify.

The 45 percent is arrived from not counting the first 90 days he was in office (presumably long enough to bring in his own people).

If that were the case it would be even higher.

For what it is worth, we are trying to confirm through FOIA former attorney general Stovall had far fewer defections when she took office.

The stats can be verified via FOIA request via the dept. of administration. It takes a few days and a few dollars, but its worth it. They are MUCH more helpful with FOIA requests than are the people in Klines office. More on this subject in a later post.

I heard since Kline has been in office he is going on 3 different DARE coordinators, going on 5 different victim advocates, I believe 4 Executive Dir. for child death review board, and probably tons of other support staff, attorneys, and investigators within the office.

All within, so far 3 years in office. What a great boss! HA! Wonder what he’s doing for them all to be leaving, or should I say not doing.

I’m sorry misquote on the DARE coordinator, that would be going on 4 not 3!

45% after he hired his people? My gosh! That’s something! The sad thing is people out there in this state do not know this statistic. Interesting to see what his explanation will be, probably the employees fault, I’m sure. Blame it on the low people.

From what I can tell, Kline fired ten of Stovall’s employees and brought in 10 of his own cronies.

Including his dope smoking nephew who is still on the payroll!

and five from that list are no longer in the office. that makes 50 percent of his own inner circle has left him since he took office.

    Ouch.

So even to his own people he is a great boss? Again out for himself I see. What a looser! I wonder how many of his actual staff now are political hires JUST for the campaign? Even though, we all know he legally isn’t suppose to do campaigning on state time-tax payers time. I’d like to see timesheets! And maybe the background of each employee to see if they are actual employees working for the people of KS or the Kline campaign.

I’m pretty sure a number of former Kline admin employees will be working quite agressively to see that he is not reelected. I know two of them personally and they both have said there are more anti-kline staffers there right now than loyalists.

the above post says quite a bit about Kline, if its accurate. I’ll be interested to see if any former of his staff publically support Morrison.

Google and a few phone calls, its a beautiful thing…

Of the cronies Phill brought into the A.G.’s payroll…

    Rucker-Still Chief Deputy
    Davies-Still Deputy for Civil Divison
Brown-Still in Consumer Protection Division, still a kook
    Sontag-Executive Director of the GOP
Johannes-Embedded Reporter in Iraq since early 2005
    Haar-Jim Ryun’s campaign manager

  13. […] So, am I still upset about leaving there? No, it was the best decision I could have made. Am I a disgruntled employee? Of course not-I think firephillkline said there was about 45% turnover rate there-how can we all be disgruntled? […]

An interesting discussion is definitely worth comment.
I think that you need to publish more about this subject, it might not be a taboo subject but typically people don’t talk about such topics.
    To the next! Cheers!!
